 This premium Japanese green tea comes from the renowned Kakegawa region in Shizuoka Prefecture, celebrated for producing high-quality deep-steamed (fukamushi) sencha. The tea is made from the prized Asatsuyu tea bush, harvested during the second flush. It is known for its vibrant green color, delicate sweetness, and smooth texture with a clean, vegetal taste.

The deep-steaming process enhances the tea's flavor and aroma, resulting in a rich, full-bodied experience with subtle notes of fresh baked bread and a summer sea breeze. It is organically grown, free from pesticides, ensuring a pure and natural tea-drinking experience​

To brew Sencha Kakegawa, use water at around 70-80°C (158-176°F) and steep for 1-2 minutes. This tea is ideal for those new to Japanese green teas, offering a gentle introduction with its mellow and accessible character.
