FUKUJYU
This high-grade Japanese green tea, also known as "Green Spider Leg" due to the appearance of its leaves, is a superior type of Sencha. Sourced from the Shizuoka Prefecture, Fukujyu tea is known for its refreshing sweetness and light grassy taste. The leaves are harvested from the first and second flush, ensuring only the youngest, tender shoots are used.
The tea undergoes a steaming process to halt oxidation, followed by rolling and pan-firing, which imparts a slight sheen to the leaves. The infusion is a clear, pale-green color with a fresh, grassy aroma and a subtle, sweet flavor. It's rich in vitamin C and other natural compounds, making it a healthy choice.
To brew Fukujyu Sencha, use water at about 75-80°C (170-175°F) and steep 1-1.5 teaspoons of tea for 1-3 minutes. This tea is perfect for multiple infusions, offering a smooth, balanced cup each time
